*The Tactics Domain is now part of the forgotten past. An epic level cleric of Nadar may be able to reopen it, though. Until then, replace it with the Strength Domain.

Nadar is part of the original ancient Alanasian Pantheon. After The Rift he has been displaced by Tempus mainly. His dogma is primarily concerned with strength, endurance, honorable battle and encouraging the use of honorable tactics to shape the battlefield.
Nadar is viewed as a nuisance by other Alanasian gods and some of their prominent followers. This is due to “The Choosing”, as clerics of Nadar call it, or “The Stealing” as clerics of other deities choose to refer to it. At all times Nadar has a head warrior, known as his “Corliss” seen by his followers as his representative on earth, through which he channels all his biddings and grants his followers spells. Although Nadar is not a demanding deity, he is extremely choosy about who his “Corliss” is and chooses him or her with absolutely no regard to who that person is currently worshiping or what his or her social or political status are. Corliss are at times called “Nadar” or “Nadar’s Avatar”, almost at all times as an insult by believers of other dieties, who see Nadar’s close relationship with his followers as vulgar (Nadar has been known to fight battles side by side with his followers, as a regular mortal – many times side by side with his Corliss).
Nadar’s Corliss is expected to epitomize the teachings of Nadar: use tactics when possible, help others maximize their impact on the world and particularly in battle, do not shirk battle when the time comes to fight, honour your opponent, give your opponent a fighting chance in battle (Corlisses, for this reason, learn to fight bare handed and spend much of their time teaching others to fight), be direct in your speech and manner, teach others to stand up and fight for their own, learn the ways of others in battle, invent new tactics, learn to endure, never leave anyone behind, fight for what is important to you and for what you believe in – otherwise you do not deserve it.
For these reasons Nadar’s followers are popular with the lower echelons, rebels, the oppressed, would be warriors and those that have felt the sharp edge of “The Tongue of Diplomacy” (Zorjass, lesser deity of diplomats, stealth and thieves) on their necks.
Nadar’s clerics are usually warrior clerics, many times taking levels of fighter, monk or barbarian. Nadar is unique among the deities in having more than one favoured weapon (he has one for each of his main follower type)- Greatsword for Fighters, Greataxe for Barbarians, Unarmed Strike for Monks and Heavy Mace for Clerics.
